About Me

I am a DPhil (PhD) student in politics at the University of Oxford. Previously, I studied at the University of Oslo and was a research assistant at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO)

My research focuses on the effects of armed conflict on educational outcomes and why non-state armed groups perpetrate attacks on education in civil wars. I specialise in computational methods and geospatial analysis, with a regional focus on the developing world, particularly Sub-Saharan Africa.

I also work as a portrait photographer, photographing families, youth, and weddings.
